BOIL WATER ADVISORY - Unplanned Disruption - Strawberry Mountain Water Pressure Zone.

water

WHITE SALMON, WA – January 27, 2026

Please be advised that there was a disruption in water service today, January 27th, affecting residents and properties in and around the Strawberry Mountain Water Pressure Zone.

Starting Tuesday, January 27, at 3:30 p.m. and continuing until further notice, water system testing will be underway.

Test results are expected to be available by 5:00 p.m. on January 28, 2026 (An additional notice will be sent if we anticipate any extension.)

Due to a malfunction in the water system, water service was temporarily disrupted for customers in the Strawberry Mountain pressure zone. Service is now being restored.

Since this required the Strawberry Mountain reservoir to be refilled, required water quality testing must be completed to ensure the water is safe for consumption. As a precaution, residents in the affected area should boil all water used for drinking, food preparation, and cooking for the next 24 hours. During this time, please use bottled water or boiled water for drinking, food preparation, and cooking. To ensure safety, bring tap water to a full rolling boil for at least 1 minute, then allow it to cool before use.

We appreciate your patience and will share updates as soon as testing is complete.
