Public Open House: Water Transmission Main Improvements Phase IIA

Calendar Date:
Tuesday, February 24, 2026 - 4:00pm

The City of White Salmon will begin the Transmission Main Replacement – Phase IIA Project in March 2026. This project will replace a portion of the City’s existing 14-inch water transmission main with a new 20-inch transmission main.

Construction will take place along Forrester Drive and Powerhouse Road, as well as along and within SR 141 (West Jewett Drive) from Powerhouse Road to the City’s check valve vault, located approximately 600 feet northwest of SW Schuener Drive. The project will also include installation of new water mains and services on Knoll Road, Arnett Road, and other areas adjacent to SR 141.

To share information and answer questions, the City of White Salmon will host a public open house. This event will give community members an opportunity to learn about the project schedule, construction staging, traffic control, and what nearby property owners and travelers on SR 141 can expect during construction. You are encouraged to attend, meet the project team, and learn more about the improvements.
