2023 Garfield Street Improvements

The City of White Salmon, Washington (Owner), invites Bids for the construction of the 2023 Garfield Street Improvement Project. The project includes the following approximate major work descriptions: Base Bid: 292 cyd of excavation, 575 tons of crushed surfacing, 350 tons of hot mix asphalt, 1,296 syd of pavement grinding, 984 syd of pavement removal, 644 feet of curb and gutter, 220 syd of concrete sidewalk and driveway, 81 feet of 12” storm and 1 catch basins.

Sealed Bids for the described Project will be received by the Owner at 100 North Main Street, White Salmon, Washington 98672 until 11:00am, local time, April 12, 2023. Bids will be publicly opened and read. The Owner shall have the right to reject any or all bids not accompanied by the data required by the bidding documents or a bid in any way incomplete or irregular.

The selected contractor is subject to all the requirements related to Washington State Prevailing Wage Rates for Public Works Projects, EEO, and Washington State Contracting Laws. 

All Bidding Documents and any addenda are available below under "Supporting Documents".  No paper sets will be provided for bidding purposes. It is the bidder’s responsibility to check the city’s website prior to submitting a bid to determine if any addenda have been issued. Bid security is not required for this project. A pre-bid conference will be help on April 5, 2023 at 1:00pm at 119 NE Church Ave.
