NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Proposed Ordinance 2023-09-1149 ANNEXING AN UNINCORPORATED ISLAND OF LAND LOCATED WITHIN THE WHITE SALMON URBAN GROWTH AREA IN KLICKITAT COUNTY, WASHINGTON TO THE CITY OF WHITE SALMON.

Notice is hereby given that the White Salmon City Council will hold a Public Hearing on both October 4, 2023 and November 15, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the Fire Hall, 119 NE Church Street, City Council Chambers in White Salmon WA.

The purpose of said hearing is to consider the WS-ANX-2023-001 Annexation – N. Main Island Annexation. The proposed annexation contains Klickitat County Parcels 03111900009900, 03111908480300, 03111900009800, 03111995000200, 03111971012200, 03111971010100, 03111971010200, 03111971011700, 03111971011500, 03111971011300, 03111922000500, 03111971011200, 03111971011100, 03111971010900, 03111971010800, 03111971010700, 03111950000200, 03111950000100. The annexation area is bounded on the west by current city limits of White Salmon; is bounded on the east by current city limits; is bounded on the south by city limits of White Salmon and NW Spring Street and is bounded on the north by city limits of White Salmon.

All interested parties are encouraged to attend. If you are unable to attend, you may submit your comments to City Hall, PO Box 2139, White Salmon WA 98672, no later than 5:00 p.m. the day of the hearing (October 4 or November 15, 2023) or have someone present them on your behalf at the Public Hearing.
