NOTICE OF ORDINANCE ADOPTION

Notice is hereby given that on September 2, 2026, the White Salmon City Council adopted the following ordinances:

Ordinance No. 2026-09-1190 - Park and City Facility Reservation Fees

Amends WSMC Chapter 12.28 by renaming the chapter from "Event Park Fees" to "Park and City Facility Reservation Fees," defining City facilities, removing references to deposits, clarifying that applicable reservation fees are adopted by City Council resolution, and preserving the City's authority to require applicable fees, charges, insurance, permits, approvals, and conditions of use. Effective January 1, 2027, following publication as provided by law.

Ordinance No. 2026-09-1191 - Lodging Tax Advisory Committee Conflict Disclosure and Recusal Requirements

Amends WSMC 2.20.010 regarding the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee to establish conflict disclosure and recusal requirements for lodging tax funding applications and proposals, including restrictions on deliberation, voting, scoring, ranking, and recommendations when a member has a conflict of interest. Effective five (5) days after publication according to law.
