NOTICE OF ORDINANCE ADOPTION

Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, the White Salmon City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2026-06-1188, amending WSMC 15.04 to establish requirements for electric vehicle charging readiness in residential construction. This ordinance will take effect five (5) days after publication. The ordinance requires new residential construction to include sufficient electrical capacity to support future electric vehicle charging, commonly referred to as “EV-ready” construction.

Notice is further given that Council also adopted Resolution No. 2026-05-645, adopting the Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program for the years 2027–2032. The program identifies and prioritizes planned transportation and pedestrian improvement projects within the City of White Salmon.
