Candidate Filing Week for City of White Salmon Council Positions

The City of White Salmon announces that Candidate Filing Week for the upcoming municipal election will take place from Monday, May 5, 2025, through Friday, May 9, 2025. During this period, individuals interested in serving on the City Council may file declarations of candidacy for the following positions:​

• Position 3
• Position 4
• Position 5​

Filing Details:

• Filing Period: May 5–9, 2025
• Filing Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Filing Methods:

1. Online: Visit the Klickitat County Elections website at https://www.klickitatcounty.gov/1136/ElectionsVoter-Registration
2. In Person: Klickitat County Auditor’s Office, 205 S. Columbus Ave, Room 203, Goldendale, WA 98620
3. By Mail: Declarations may be mailed starting April 21, 2025, and must be received by 5:00 p.m. on May 9, 2025.​

Important Dates:

• Candidate Withdrawal Deadline: Monday, May 12, 2025, by 5:00 p.m.
• Voters' Pamphlet Statement Submission Deadline: Tuesday, May 20, 2025

Eligibility Requirements:

Candidates must be registered voters and residents of the City of White Salmon. Additional eligibility criteria may apply as per local regulations.​
